You can view the full program here.

I will be speaking at 1:30pm on “Agile Techniques for Innovative Project Planning”.  This will be an introduction to agile planning methods, with a particular emphasis on how they support innovate projects.  Here is the session description:

Agile Techniques for Innovative Project Planning

Arin Sime, Novice track, 60 minutes

It’s hard to plan in depth too far into the future, especially when you are doing innovative software development. But it’s still critical to keep your team focused on delivering customer value and coordinating well with each other. This is an example of where agile planning techniques really shine. In this interactive session you will learn the basics of agile planning, and then work with others at your table to plan a sample iteration. We will discuss iteration and release planning, estimation, story points, and user stories.
